Arnab Biswas is a Consultant Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeon at Alo Eye Care and BB Eye Foundation, Kolkata. He graduated from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata, He is a postgraduate of Regional Institute Ophthalmology, Sitapur, UP. Thereafter he obtained FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom. He underwent the International Council of Ophthalmology Fellowship in Oculoplasty and Orbital Diseases from University of Limoges, France. He has been a pioneer in Eastern India of many Advanced Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeries. He has multiple scientific presentations as guest speaker and instructor and he has also launched free papers and videos in national as well as international conferences. He has been awarded the CS Reshmi Medal for the best Video at the All India Ophthalmic Society Conference 2007, Hyderabad. He is also the recipient of the Best Video award by the Oculoplastic Association of India Annual Conference, Chandigarh 2005 and Hyderabad 2007, Delhi Ophthalmic Society Annual Conference 2006, Eastern India Zonal Conference, Patna 2006 and Satyarani Das Ghosh Award by the West Bengal Ophthalmic Society in 2002 and 2006. He has also been awarded the best poster award by the West Bengal Ophthalmic Society in 2005 and 2006. He has also won the KP Roy Award for the Best Free Paper (West Bengal Ophthalmic Society in 2005). His love for documentation has resulted in a personal collection of over 25,000 photographs of rare and interesting cases. This book ""Color Atlas of Oculoplastic and Orbital Disorders"" is the outcome of his love for photographic documentation.
