“Fisheries and Aquaculture” is an excellent compilation of modern concepts in Fisheries and Aquaculture. With the rapid spurt in population, depletion of land agricultural resources, attention is now being directed towards fisheries resources which are an excellent source of protein, vitamins A and D and fish oil. The volume includes 17 selected, reviewed articles under the theme “Fisheries and Aquaculture” of the International Conference on Recent Trends in Climate Change Researches vis-a-vis Biodiversity, This publication highlights several important aspects of fisheries and aquaculture which are dealt efficiently under the sub-sections of Prospects, Management and Diversity in fishes, Fish Economics, Climatic Change and Remote Sensing, Fish Biology & Haematology, Fish Diseases & Health and Water pollution and its impact on Fisheries. Each of these sub-section contains contributions by learned and experienced authors and includes the most recent researches in fisheries and aquaculture who have expressed their views in the most lucid manner. The editors have tried to make the publication error-free to the best of their capabilities, nevertheless, a positive feedback and fruitful suggestions will always be appreciated. An effort has been made to produce a publication of high merits and it is envisaged that it will attract a wide audience of fish lovers who will appreciate the quality of this publication.
