Children are naturally curious, and are good at building a world of fantasy, fun and adventure that they can easily transport themselves to. Stories provide them with that opportunity to create a make believe universe. At the same time, however, it is important that the stories they read help them learn valuable life lesions that can teach them to differentiate between right and wrong, and navigate through the moral complexities of daily life.
