The International Political System since the beginning of 1970's has registered a marked disinteration of the cold war coalition. It has also witnessed serious challenges to the competence and authority of nation-state institutions. The Challenges posed to these institutions have been most strident in the World countries and this chalenge was visibly manifest in the case of Bangladesh. Emergence of Bangladesh following the disintegration of Pakistan had an impact on the international power structure in South Asia. It has transformed the political landscape of the region.
